Laser Printing Features: Reliable and Efficient, but Cost High.
In principle, laser printing uses laser heating to transfer carbon
powder through the drum to the carrier, thus printing the image, and its
consumable parts are divided into two parts: light drum and toner. The
manufacturers, of course, are also aware of the ability to achieve precise cost control by the research and
development of consumable technology, and they have come out a variety of different designs.
●Drum and Powder Integrated
Most of the black and white laser
printers use a drum - powder integrated design. If the toner is exhausted, the
user needs to replace its consumable components as a whole. This design
simplifies the maintenance of changing
the the printer consumables and reduces
the cost for daily maintenance of the
equipment.
●Drum and Powder Separated
Some of the manufacturers think that the drum cartridge and toner
cartridge for the printing consumables can be designed separated. Especially
for the color laser equipment , different colors have different
consumption. This design can change whichever color as needed
and minimize the waste of consumables.
●Supply by Demand
The so-called "supply by
demand”is that, through the internal
mechanical structure, we can evolve the original cartridge into the powder bin.
With toner consumption, new toner in the powder bin can be added in the developing unit according to the needs.
The powder in the bin keeps fresh all
the time so as to avoid deterioration due to touch the air prematurely.
Intuitively, the volume of the bin becomes smaller, but the printing capacity
maintain the same, meanwhile , it can reduce the purchase cost of the user and lower the original consumables usage threshold .
